Professional Details & Training

I have been an NHS Endocrinologist for over 20 years previously seeing around 1500 endocrine cases per year, with involvement in many more departmental cases.


I am Lead Consultant Endocrinologist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer, University of Leeds.

 

Particular areas of expertise include Thyroid, Calcium, Osteoporosis, Vitamin D, Pituitary, Adrenal, Male/Female Sex Hormone disorders and Radioiodine treatment.

Graduated from The University of Leeds Medical School 1985 (MBChB).

 

Membership of The Royal College of Physicians (MRCP 1988).

 

Research MD thesis The University of Sheffield (MD 2000).

 

Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians (FRCP London 2000).

 

Endocrine training at Leeds General Infirmary, Northern General Hospital Sheffield and Christie Hospital Manchester.

 

Lead Consultant in Endocrinology at Bradford Royal Infirmary since 1998.
